BEWARE OF JURY SCAMS!! If you receive a call about missed jury service, DO NOT respond to this phone call or pay anyone any sum of money. Obtain as much information as possible about the caller and report it to your local police department. Agencies will NEVER contact you by phone regarding missed jury duty or to demand money. If you believe you missed jury duty, contact the Genesee County Jury Office at 810-257-3285.

The Jury Management Office is responsible for summoning approximately 32,000 citizens of Genesee County annually for jury service.  The office monitors court calendars and determines the appropriate number of qualified prospective jurors required.  It maintains all attendance records and assists jurors with their service.

Jury service is an essential duty and pillar of our justice system. Those who perform their civic duty are highly regarded and appreciated by the court.  It provides an opportunity to learn about our justice system.  While jury service may require some adjustments to your normal schedule and routine, we will make every effort to minimize your inconvenience.  Our staff is committed to making your jury experience a positive one.
