Juvenile Records
The Juvenile Records Department of the family division is the point of access for court filings and records related to juvenile delinquency matters and child protective proceedings. The department is also the point of access for adoption matters.
The department is comprised of adoption caseworkers and court specialists assigned to assist family division judges and referees in hearings and file management.
Juvenile court records are generally non-public, and available only to the limited extent permitted by statute or court rule. Records requests must be made using the Juvenile Records Request Form. Forms must be sent to: daytimejuvenile@geneseecountymi.gov.
